Support Dr. Andrey Bundley

We, the undersigned, respectfully submit this petition to the Baltimore City Public School System in protest of the removal of Dr. Andrey Bundley as a Baltimore City Public School principal in active service. Dr. Bundley is a dedicated educator and activist with a sincere desire to better the lives of children attending Baltimore City Public Schools.

It is our belief that Dr. Andrey Bundley was removed without just cause from his position as principal at Walkbrook Senior High School, also known as the Walbrook Services Academy. The accusations alleging his involvement in graduating ineligible students were fictitious and politically motivated to tarnish his reputation as a well-respected voice in Baltimore on social, economic, and political issues. We publicly voice our anger and disdain in the way that the Baltimore City Public Schools System handled this matter, especially in the outrageous manner that Walbrook Senior High School was raided and locked down - as if it was a Terrorist Camp during the investigation. Not even the Patriot Act allows for such obvious politically calculated and motivated attacks against individuals.

We request that the Baltimore City School Board hold a formal exploration with an independent investigator to study the Baltimore City Public Schools Systems allegations and actions against Dr. Bundley. We request that Dr. Bundley is reinstated to active principal status in the Baltimore City Public Schools System. Moreover, we request a formal, public apology from the Baltimore City Public Schools System to Dr. Andrey Bundley.
