We are petitioning Fremont City Council for support in a Summer Youth Girls Softball Organization to start in 06/12 and run through 07/12. We are doing this in overwhelming concerns that our current season is started to early and therefore our girls are cheated out of games due to weather related cancellations along with miserable conditions when games are played such as rain, wind and cold temperatures. We feel as though it is time to move softball back to a summer sport and give our kids the opportunity to play baseball in the summer and not the spring.
