One of the many horrible things still allowed by the Canadian Government is the slaughter of hundreds of THOUSANDS of seal every year! Most of which don't even live long enough for them to become adults. Instead they will be clubbed to death, shot skinned or left to bleed until the die, painfully. Brutally killed. The seals are targeted because of the predatory nature and that they are endangering the cod population in the Atlantic Ocean.
Please join us, as fellow Canadians, those who want to stop this unthinkable slaughter that has been disguised as population control! Our harp seal numbers are lowering with nearly 1 million being hunted every 3 hunting seasons. We will not stand by and watch our government not even care about the cruelty that is being given to these helpless animals, nor will I stand silent amidst their cry for help.
