Hi everybody, my name is Khulan Bataa and I am 28 years old. I came to Canada from Mongolia in 2007, and I am being treated as an Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and Philadelphia Chromosome Positive patient in Princess Margaret Hospital. During this time, I have had two bone marrow transplants and four rounds of chemotherapy. I am now taking a chemo medicine and have to be under doctor’s continuous treatment. In 2008 my husband and my daughter joined me in Canada and we have claimed refugee. Unfortunately, we received a letter stating that our case had been denied in March 18, 2011. I have also applied for a Humanitarian and Compassionate Ground case three years ago. However I have heard that lots of H&C cases get denied. If I get denied for this case and get deported from Canada, I would have no available treatment; therefore, it would be the end for my life. I have a four and a half years old daughter; I want to see her grow up and raise her to be an independent, educated and good person. I do not know what to do and could use any type of help.
