DocCheck would like to establish the top-level domain ".med" as an internet address for medical content. The domain .med would assign members of the healthcare industry and medical institutions their own clearly identifiable address (e.g. alzheimer.med, oncology.med, dr-john-doe-clinic.med etc.).
The top-level domain .med could be established as a quality standard, if it were exclusively at the medical community's disposal.
DocCheck would like to administrate the domain as a trustee for the medical community and provide for the exclusivity of the top-level domain .med for medical content.
